This VSO is looking for someone who has experience in writing press releases and articles.  This volunteer would be responsible for:  All press releases, writing articles on WWI Veterans, preparing the submission for the Fall Visitors Guide ad for the newspaper, coordination with FBG Convention and Visitors Bureau for weekly newsletter submissions, radio spots, etc.    All submissions will be submitted through my office and graphics are done by another committee member.  Monthly committee meetings through September, and then more frequent meetings October/November.  

So if anyone is interested please contact me as soon as possible.

The Gillespie County Veterans Service Officer is responsible for assisting Armed Forces Veterans and their dependents who reside in Gillespie County of the legal benefits available to them under U. S. Federal and State laws. The Veterans Service Officer reports to the Commissioners Court and performs duties under the technical guidelines established by the Texas Veterans Commission and Federal Law under C.F.R. 38. There is no charge for our services.
This office does not adjudicate claims.
