The County Clerk serves as the official records keeper of the Commissioners Court, the County Court, the County Court at Law, all Land and Official Public Records, as well as the Local Registrar for all Vital Records.  Gillespie County is a Constitutional Court as well as a Statutory Court.  

Our main goal in the County Clerk's Office is to serve you, the public, to the best of our ability and provide you with quick and accurate service with a smile!  
Records Search
Effective September 1, 2015,
the Gillespie County Clerk’s Office will Not perform Probate or Criminal Searches for the General Public. You may search these records either in person at the County Clerk’s Office or online at www.gillespiecounty.org.
